Day 1:
IXB to Kalimpong (75 km in 2 hrs)Our representative will warmly welcome you on arrival and assist you to the vehicle for the further journey. |
Day 2:
Half Day Kalimpong City Tour visit to 5 pointsAfter Breakfast enjoy Kalimpong city tour. Visit Durpin Dara View Point, Army Golf Course, Graham’s Home, Deolo View Point and Pine View orchid nursery. |
Day 3:
Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake with Baba Mandir Excursion – 52kms in 3hrs - One way (Timing: 7.30AM to 2.30PM)You need to get up early, get fresh and have heavy breakfast till 7.30am. We drive you to Tsomgo Lake (Alt 12000ft/3600M), a high altitude alpine lake close to Indo-China Border. The 1 km long and 15m deep lake is considered sacred to the local people. The pure clear water remains frozen during winter. Enjoy playing in snow and Yak Ride. There is a Ropeway running near Lake to enjoy the Ariel view of lake and its surroundings mountain. Proceed further to Legendary Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (“Hero of Nathula” An Indian soldiers who was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra medal for his bravery and known for doing his duty still after death). Back to Hotel for late Lunch. |
Day 4:
Gangtok to Lachen, 130kms in 7hrsMorning drive to Lachen in North Sikkim (Alt 9175Ft / 2750M). On the way visit Singhik, Chungthang Confluence. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check in at local Guest house or hotel. Free evening and Overnight stay at Lachen. |
Day 5:
Lachen to Thangu, Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake (for Indians Only), Total 120kms in 6hrsEarly morning drive to Thangu Village (Alt 13625Ft / 4100M), a remote high altitude village of Tibetan Nomads and also proceed further to have a view of Chopta Valley (Alt 13325Ft / 4000M) to get some breathtaking view of alpine valley of frozen rivers. From Chopta Valley drive for another 30kms in 1.5hr to Gurudongmar Lake (Alt 17375Ft / 5225M) close to Tibet Border, the one of the Highest and biggest fresh water lakes in Sikkim. Back to Lachen for Lunch. |
Day 6:
Lachung to Yumthang Valley Excursion 25kms in 1.5hrs (One Way)Yumthang is popularly known as 'Valley of Flowers. It is also home to the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary, and has over 24 species of the Rhododendron, the state flower. A vast flat greeny landscape in the lap of “The great Himalaya” covered with tree and a glacier flowing through it, is enough to make you speechless. You can see snow here in every season. You will feel like to be in Heaven. |
Day 7:
Full day city tour (Timing 9.30AM to 4.30PM)After breakfast, you visit top tourist points of Gangtok which includes Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Ropeway, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage Industry, Do-drul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Bakthang waterfall (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok. |
Day 8:
Transfer to Pelling in West Sikkim via Ravangla in South SikkimGangtok to Pelling, 130kms in 4.30hrs – Check out from Hotel and depart for Pelling (Alt 7175Ft / 2150M). you can visit Ravangla. Mt. Kanchendzonga can easily be seen here. Visit Buddha Park also known as Tathagata Tsel and features a 130 foots high statue of the Buddha. This sight commands beautiful views of the mountains. |
Day 9:
Pelling City Tour (Timing: 9.30AM to 4.30PM)Pelling is famous for its breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains of Kanchenjunga and its ranges. It has a rich history, nature environment and local culture. Weather & scenic beauty both combined make it a Good Naturothereopist. Its pollution free environment makes you feel stress free and energetic. |
Day 10:
Pelling to Darjeeling (75hrs 04 hrs journey) Via NamchiAfter breakfast, Depart towards Darjeeling via Namchi. In Namchi, The 135 feet high statue of Guru Padamasambhava is present at Samdruptse. The Chardham covers about 7 acres of land. It consists of a huge idol of Lord Shiva which is about 87ft tall & Sai Golden Temple. |
